Common questions

I forgot my password

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password?. We will email you a code to choose a new one.

I did not get the code

Check your spam or junk folder. A code expires 15 minutes after it is sent; you can ask for a new one from the same screen.

How do I change my password?

Go to Settings → Change password. We will email you a code to confirm the change.

My drive stops recording when the screen locks

Roaden needs location access set to Always to keep recording in the background. On iPhone, open Settings → Roaden → Location and choose Always. The Location card in Roaden’s own Settings shows the current state.

How do I turn notifications off, or hide message text?

To stop all notifications, open Settings → Permissions → Notifications in Roaden, or Settings → Roaden → Notifications on your iPhone. To keep message text off your lock screen, turn off Settings → Chats → Show message text; notifications will then only say who wrote. To silence one chat, tap the bell at the top of it.

Who can message me, and can others see that I read their message?

Choose who can start a chat with you, and turn read receipts on or off, in Settings → Chats. With read receipts off, others do not see when you read their messages, and you do not see when they read yours.

How do I report or block someone?

Open the menu on a post, comment or profile and choose Report or Block. You can see and unblock the drivers you blocked in Settings → Blocked drivers. You can also report anything to roadenapp@gmail.com.

How do I disconnect Spotify?

Go to Settings → Music → Disconnect Spotify.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. If you can no longer sign in, email roadenapp@gmail.com from the address on your account and we will delete it for you.
